Dr. Yossi Rubner, CEO
Dr. Rubner brings over two decades of R&D management expertise combined with academic research and teaching. Prior to founding RTC, he managed R&D divisions/teams at Applied Materials and served as CTO at Jigami. Earlier in his career, Dr. Rubner served as a consultant for the Xerox Corporation, Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), Desktop Publishing Systems at the Scitex Corporation. He was also responsible for several R&D projects during his service in the Israel Defense Forces. Dr. Rubner is a graduate of the IDF Computer Academy and holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the Technion Institute of Technology, and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where he specialized in Computer Vision. Dr. Rubner has published a book and has over 15 journal and conference papers to his credit in the areas of Image/Video Processing and Computer Vision. He is also a course instructor in advanced computer studies at several leading universities in Israel.
Nir Avrahami, Chief Scientist
With over 12 years of extensive industrial R&D experience, Nir Avrahami brings both knowledge and expertise in Computer Vision, including Low-Level Vision, Structure From Motion, Feature Selection, Registration, and Machine Learning. Prior to joining RTC, Nir held the position of CTO of ioimage, where he also established and managed the algorithms team, and served as a Senior Algorithms Developer at CogniTens 3D Visions Systems. He holds an M.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
Ronen Paz, VP Marketing & Business Development
Ronen Paz brings extensive experience in marketing, business development, strategy and entrepreneurship to the RTC team. Prior to joining RTC Vision, Ronen served as VP Sales, Marketing and Business Development at ForexManage, a financial software development company and held several key senior business development, strategy and marketing positions at Comverse, a NASDAQ 100 company. Ronen was responsible for M&A, corporate development, strategy, business development and 3rd party alliances activities, and has led pre-sale, product strategy and positioning, new product gating and marketing communications processes. Before joining Comverse, Ronen held the position of CFO of Netline Communication Technologies. He holds an MBA and LLB (Cum Laude) from Bar Ilan University’s top student multidisciplinary program and studied software engineering at the Technion Institute of Technology.
