KITOV Systems (www.kitovsystems.com) was spun-off from RTC Vision in 2014 in order to focus on developing a fully automated Quality Control solution to a wide range of applications and customers.

The Challenge
Current Quality Control methods using visual inspection are mostly manual and do not meet the increasing quality requirements of today’s manufacturing lines. These methods are inconsistent, expensive, and take long time. Furthermore, customized machine vision projects do not provide good solutions as they are product-specific, require long deployment, expensive, and inconsistent.KITOV WEB RTC The Solution

KITOV system universal quality control system is a robotic visual inspection system, in which an optical head unit autonomously scans the manufactured products for defects.  The system allows for simple and fast enrolment of new products by using golden parts and/or CAD model. This is done by the operator at the line without the need for a machine vision expert.  During the inspection, the system captures and analyses visual information in order to ensure high quality control during manufacturing processes. The system’s universal capability allows it to support wide range of products in industries such as EMS, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, military, and more.  KITOV System results in better and more consistent quality, lower costs, shorter inspection times, and provides for detailed reporting and statistics.
